Today, we are launching Streamdays Player 3. The new live video player version 3 will be rolled out to our existing Streamdays customers from today onwards, whilst all new Streamdays customers will benefit from the further enhanced Streamdays player straight from the off.
What is new in Streamdays Player version 3?
Full Browser and Device Support
A key update is that all main internet browsers and devices will be supported, including Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox as well as iOS for iPhones and most Android devices.
360° Live View
This new feature allows visitors to pan 360˚through the live camera view using their mouse. It will work with any IP camera but a 180˚panaromic or 360˚hemispheric camera would enhance the user’s experience.
Compliance with the latest EU Cookie Directive
A privacy first approach ensures that the new player meets all requirements of the EU’s ePrivacy Directive, meaning that a global audience can experience Streamdays powered webcams with confidence and individual privacy protected.
Cybersecurity Improvements
With the launch of the player version 3, Streamdays has seen new, further cybersecurity enhancements to continue the protection of our customers and the wider Streamdays platform.
